The Hawksbill sea turtle carries an ancient calendar on its shell. Its 13 central scutes mirror the annual cycles of the moon, while the 28 marginal scutes echo the days of its journey. Our series, Thirteen Moons, honors this celestial blueprint with 13 episodes, each 28 minutes long, merging science and myth to give the reef its last voice.
